Our X-Rite Color Experts have extensive technical knowledge and in-depth industry and workflow experience to help you successfully deliver an impactful program. Being on-site enables us to understand first hand your challenges and helps you quickly identify and immediately implement changes or enhancements to your application, instruments or software.
X-Rite Color Experts are company employees from our Technical Applications Team or Color Services organization. In addition for some workflows, X-Rite uses a wide network of certified X-Rite industry consultants that are extremely familiar with our products and have been trained by us to deliver specific programs. All of our resources are very knowledgeable about our products and typically come from the industries X-Rite serves.
X-Rite encourages you to have anyone within the design, prepress, proofing or pressroom function attend a training event. X-Rite will work with you on a specific agenda that will accommodate varying levels of color knowledge, specific applications or even job functions.
On-site training is a popular choice for many customers to meet their business needs. If training multiple people from the same company, the on-site training option by an X-Rite Color Expert is sometimes more cost effective.
A detailed agenda will be designed between you and X-Rite that meets your business objectives. We will always advise you on how we can best support you in organizing the exact content, involving participants and providing overall event logistics and timeframe.

When HP’s Indigo Support Team recommended we work with X-Rite for our prepress color management needs, we were delighted to learn that the approach would be notably different. Instead of the traditional do-then-explain-if-there’s-time approach, X-Rite’s Mark Gundlach brought our team through every phase of the process with thorough advanced training and collaboration. First, the objective was clearly stated and mutually agreed upon. Second, an inventory of available assets and needed resources was drafted and procured. Then, a live and in person information session provided our team with the comprehensive training and orientation that had been lacking in our previous color management events. A detailed strategy of how to update and covert legacy files was developed as well. Add to that, Mark worked carefully with our technicians to train them how to fully utilize X-Rite’s i1 spectrophotomer device – something which our previous consultants kept to themselves as if it were “secret proprietary knowledge.” Lastly, Mark worked exhaustively with our press operators to teach them how to optimize the Indigo’s color printing features. The end result was an excellent GRACoL based standardization of color production from design through printed product.
