"Just wanted to let you know that Larry did a wonderful job the two days he spent with us. We learned a lot and you couldn’t ask for a better person for training and representing your company. I would highly recommend Larry to other potential customers as well as the system. We already have our color standards set up and are running tests. Just wanted to let you know." — Matthew Carver, Manufacturing Manager Print and Marking, Bricolage Inc. Circleville, Ohio
I cannot speak highly enough of this recent display of effort and professionalism, because it stands out in comparison to the majority of my personal and professional experience. My thanks to these gentlemen for their service and dedication.” – Gary Elrod, Quality Engineer at Kawneer, speaking of post training tech support
"I have seen many service techs do profiling over the years, and it was obvious to me that there were many different opinions on how to do profiling. I always felt very familiar with the process, but not confident enough to do it on my own. I decided to get some training from X-Rite in order to get G7 qualified and I was so glad that I did! The instructors from X-Rite were very knowledgeable and personable and made the education process very easy. I feel much more confident now in my profiling skills and they have been there for me since my training to help me with some of the issues I ran across later in time. I would easily refer others to utilize their training courses if they want to better themselves in the area of profiling and color management!" - Doug Jaeger, Digital Print Manager, Source One Digital
When HP’s Indigo Support Team recommended we work with X-Rite for our prepress color management needs, we were delighted to learn that the approach would be notably different. Instead of the traditional do-then-explain-if-there’s-time approach, X-Rite’s Mark Gundlach brought our team through every phase of the process with thorough advanced training and collaboration. First, the objective was clearly stated and mutually agreed upon. Second, an inventory of available assets and needed resources was drafted and procured. Then, a live and in person information session provided our team with the comprehensive training and orientation that had been lacking in our previous color management events. A detailed strategy of how to update and covert legacy files was developed as well. Add to that, Mark worked carefully with our technicians to train them how to fully utilize X-Rite’s i1 spectrophotomer device – something which our previous consultants kept to themselves as if it were “secret proprietary knowledge.” Lastly, Mark worked exhaustively with our press operators to teach them how to optimize the Indigo’s color printing features. The end result was an excellent GRACoL based standardization of color production from design through printed product. We were very satisfied with X-Rite’s knowledgeable and professional delivery of services. We were extremely satisfied with what we learned and retained in our operations as a result of the process. I would highly recommend X-Rite’s color management services to anyone, particularly the chance to work with Mark Gundlach.” - Dr. Frank Ponce', Manager, Prepress Team, The Lorenz Corporation
Recently I completed a 2-day training class on The Fundamentals of Color and Appearance which was given by X-Rite Color Services. In my 40 years in this industry I have attended several seminars similar to this one. The class by X-Rite was easily one of the best I have participated in. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable in all topics covered and was able to keep the attendees interested and engaged. I learned a great deal over the 2-day seminar and was able to apply that knowledge to my job immediately. This was a very helpful and useful class. I’m glad I attended and would recommend it highly to others in this field. - Dale Johnson, Plant Superintendent, Uniroyal Engineered Products
