Device link profiles created with a total ink limit lower than 260% can be affected by a bug in the ProfileMaker 5 device link module. This bug may lead to inverted colors in some color regions. For instance, a device link profile from IsoCoated to IsoNewsprint can contain this bug because the target device color space IsoNewsprint has a total ink limit of 240%. When applying the resulting device link profile to images, some color regions are inverted.

The bug will be fixed in the next update. Until then it is strongly recommended to use a minimum total ink limit of 260%.
