-Do I Profile an Epson 2200 as RGB or CMYK?Q: I purchased MonacoPROFILER for my Epson 7600 running Best Color at work and want to use it on my Epson 2200 at home. I have 2 questions:
- Is the 2200 considered a RGB or CMYK device (I'm not using any RIP, just the Epson driver on Windows XP. Should I build a CMYK or RGB profile?
-
Can I use the linearize option for this printer?
A: When using the Epson driver, your 2200 should be profiled as an RGB device. You should not use the linearization option, though. As long as you choose the appropriate paper type, resolution and the "No Color Adjustment" option, you should be all set.
