-ColorZone and the DTP41

Cabling : SE108-302 (cable kit; PC & Mac) & SE30-77 (125v-250v AC/DC 12v adaptor). According to CreoScitex literature as of this date 10/18/01, they only support connection to modem or printer ports, (serial). Given this, the above cableing is all that is required.

However, when support for USB becomes available the following adapter is recommended: the Keyspan Twin Serial Adapter USA28x (X-Rite p/n SE108-USBSERA).
Notes : Iris ColorZone 2.0 application includes support for the DTP41 as part of a complete digital contract proofing solution for the IrisPRINT series of inkjet printers. It is designed to operate on any Power Macintosh running OS 7.5.3 or greater. ColorZone utilizes the accurate colorimeteric measurements from X-Rite’s DTP41 spectrophotometer to maintain consistency and repeatability from proof-to-proof and printer-to-printer especially important in remote proofing applications.
