Compatibility mode was created specifically for the ability to read old spectroscan targets so it will only read in spot mode. If you are not running one of these types of targets then there would be no need for this function.

Legacy mode with the new i1Pro2 allows for the black and white spacers between the patches of legacy charts. If you are using the i1Pro2 there would be no dual scan in legacy mode.
